Vanessa propone il recital, presentato al UMBRIA JAZZ 50th Anniversary, We Like It Hot, evocando Billy Wilder e dando spazio al suo amore per i ruggenti anni ’20 tra la vocalist Annette Hanshaw e il Duke Ellington stile jungle.

Lo propone con un quartetto jazz di stampo cameristico, dedito al jazz "caldo" ovvero al jazz tradizionale ricco di swing.
