Five Sax’s current concert program “In Time” has been premiered in the legendary Wiener Musikverein to a sold out audience. It explores the history of music from a new perspective, focusing on how composers from different periods and backgrounds have made their pieces groove.

The members of Five Sax each come from a different corner of the world: Italy, Poland, USA, Chile and Hong Kong, and when we began in 2011, we did not even speak a common language. Over the past nine years, we have experienced music as a powerful unifying force which can cross cultural and ethnic boundaries. Groove and rhythm in music touches a deep, primal side of our human nature, reminding us that we have a lot more in common than the opposite
